Narrated by: Tatiana Sokolov, Jeremy Yorkīoth narrators are new for me and I can’t believe I have not heard them before. I would only reccomend this book if your a lover of dark romances that test your boundries Yes, however this will cross lines for a lot of people so please heed the warning below because this is not an easy read and requires an open mind. WARNING: This is a book for serious Dark Romance readers only intended for 18+- contains triggers, abduction, rape, attempted rape, dubious consent, violence, child abuse, murder, drug use, drug addiction, animal cruelty, death. I found this story so intruiging, the suspense and ruthless manipulation was nail biting and even though it was disturbingly creepy on all sorts of levels I could not stop reading, wanting to know what the outcome would be. There are some heavy hot sex scenes throughout, one, is so erotic it will have you fanning your face. It made her look pathetic and weak, which is a stark contradiction to the strong resilient and feisty Rika we saw throughout most of the book.(Hence the 0.5 star taken off) Instead she was way too quick to forgive, allowing Michael too manipulate her again, giving in to him. I really loved this book but I have to mention that I found it odd that when the truth is revealed to Rika she doesn’t seek her own revenge. The story is full of so much suspense, twists and surprises you can’t help but be engaged. Not only was this book dark, it was twisted and corrupt and oh so juicy.
